06-31-EN Praise the Lord with joy

1. Praise the Lord with joy among all the nations,
Bless his name throughout the earth.
Celebrate his glory, tell of his power,
He is the king of the universe.

R. Praise our God and give Him honour,
Everlasting is his love.
Glory to his name triumphant,
Blessed now and evermore !

2. Praise the Lord, our king, with timbrel and lyre,
Play for Him on harp and strings.
With a merry sound, He enters his temple ;
Loudly the trumpets acclaim our God !

3. Servants of the Lord, exult in his glory,
Shouts of joy proclaim our God.
Sing the Lord a new song, sing of his mercy,
Sing to the praise of almighty God.

4. Rich his love and mercy to those who love Him,
He is faithful to his own.
May He be the joy of all who serve Him ;
Give Him your thanks and proclaim his name !

5. Let the earth rejoice and sing to its master,
Clothed in royal robes He comes :
Let the heavens tell the earth of his justice,
Let all the earth sing his victory.

6. Glory be to God, the Father almighty,
Glory be to God, the Son ;
Glory to the Holy Spirit among us,
Ages unending, amen, amen !
