1. When Mary went out to the tomb
Of Christ our Lord,
There she saw an angel telling her :
« See, He’s risen ! »
2. When the disciples on the road
Spoke with the Lord,
It was only when He broke the bread,
Their eyes could see.
3. Mary our Mother, strong in faith,
Prayed with the twelve,
Burning with the Holy Spirit’s fire,
They spread his word.
4. Jesus has left his word to us :
« Go, teach the world ;
I am always with you as you speak,
Yes, to the end. »
