13-14-EN Exult now with joy

R. Exult now with joy all you people of God,
Come, rejoice, and acclaim God our king.
Exult now with joy, God became one like us.
Come, rejoice, and sing Alleluia !

1. Born is a child for us all,
God’s own Son has been given for us.
God almighty the Light of the world,
Jesus his Son came to earth.

2. No-one has ever seen God,
In his Son, He’s revealed for us all.
God has shown his great goodness to us,
Through his own Son, Christ, our Lord.

3. So that we all might be saved,
And to seek out and gather the lost,
So that peace may reign over the earth,
God’s Son became one like us.

4. Scripture has now been fulfilled,
God chose Mary as Mother of God.
While remaining the Lord of the earth,
Jesus was born a small child.

5. Yesterday, now, for all time,
Jesus lives in the hearts of his own.
Let’s proclaim the great works of his love,
God with us, Emmanuel.
