R. This is the lamb who gave his life,
His love for us
Is stronger than the darkness.
This is the lamb who sets us free,
The Son of God,
Who saves us and gives new life.
1. He was like God,
But He emptied himself.
Like a slave, He was humble
Accepting death.
2. Wounded for us,
He has gathered the lost.
He reveals us the truth :
Mercy without end !
3. Shepherd of all,
Like a lamb who was slain,
Son of God who became
Truly man with us !
4. Death has no sting,
It is conquered by Christ.
He is risen, his victory
Gives us life !
