R. Come, Holy Spirit, come set us ablaze,
Come, Spirit, help us in our weakness.
Come, Holy Spirit, console us in our need,
Holy Spirit, fill our lives with joy and peace.

1. O come into our souls tired and weary from sin.
Come and fill us with grace, sanctify us, o God.
Come and heal all our wounds, comforter of our souls.
Spirit, source of all life, come give peace to our hearts.

2. Spirit, sent by the Father, come and visit our souls.
You baptize with your pow’r ; make us one in the Lord.
We, the Body of Christ, with one Father in heav’n ;
Now all cry ‘Abba Father’ with one heart and one mind.

3. Spirit, enter our hearts, pour out all of your gifts.
Come, inspire us to sing, so we praise You with joy.
Spirit, source of all wisdom, come and pray in our hearts.
Come and pray without ceasing : Jesus Christ is the Lord !
