08-37-EN Here I am, o Lord

R. Here I am, o Lord,
I have come to do your will ;
May it be done
According to your command.

1. I give You thanks with all my heart and soul,
You have heard my cry,
You have listened to my pray’r.
I will praise You before all the angels.

2. I give You thanks for your great love for me.
You fulfill your word,
For your constant love is true
You respond on the day that I call You.

3. Princes and kings shall bless your holy name,
Listen to your word,
To the promise You have made ;
They will sing of your glory and praise You.

4. Lord, your right arm has brought us victory,
Do not now abandon
The work your hand has made;
For we trust in your love and your mercy.
