R. Jesus, You are our God, come to give us new life,
We all sing with joy and bless your name.
Praise and glory to You, risen Lord of the world,
You have set us free now and for evermore.

1. True God, born of true God,
Jesus, You came as man,
Brought us back to the Father, so we share in God’s life.

2. For us, You gave your life, sinless,
You bore our sins.
By your blood You have conquered death and brought us to life.

3. Jesus, risen from death,
Triumphs over the tomb.
You have overcome darkness and restored us to light.

4. We the body of Christ,
With one voice we proclaim,
Jesus is our Redeemer, Saviour, brother and friend.

5. Come, see, Jesus is here ;
His love dwelling with us ;
He has come to give life, so we’ll have life to the full.
