11-14-EN Yours is the glory

1. Shout in triumph to our Saviour,
Sing out to God our strength.
Blow the trumpet in his honour,
Let every heart respond !

R. Yours is the glory, yours is the strength,
Yours is the honour, Lord, our God !
You, Lord, are holy, You, Lord, are great.
Lord, You alone are God most high.

2. Praise Him with your songs and music,
Strike up the harp and lyre.
Let it be a rule among you :
Offer your praise to God !

3. Listen to the Lord who saved you :
« I freed you in your need.
Hidden in the storm, I answered.
When will you hear my voice ? »

4. It is I, the God who freed you,
Led you from slavery.
Listen to me, trust my wisdom,
Then you shall eat your fill !

5. Israel, if you would listen,
Walk in my paths again;
I, myself would feed my people,
Fill you with joy once more !
