15-13-EN Father in heaven

R. Father in heaven,
Jesus our Lord,
Spirit of God,
Your love renews our hearts !
Love giving life,
Life for our souls,
Glory to You,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit !

God of compassion, God of all love,
Our God of kindness, mercy and grace,
Faithful and true, patient in all things.
In your image, o Lord,
And in your likeness you moulded man.
But even though he fell from your grace
You raised him up to have life in You !

2. Chosen people of God,
Open your heart, take heed of his word.
Your God is calling, do not delay.
Come to the waters and thirst no more.
Through the desert, you’ll walk.
Be not afraid, your God is at hand.
He walks before you lighting your way.
His grace will never abandon you.

3. Zion be not ashamed,
Forget your sins, no more should you weep.
For God has heard your cry of despair.
He has forgiven you in his love !
Trust in Him, keep the faith.
In God is peace, in God is your strength.
Lift up your heads : the valleys are green,
Sing out your joy, for the deserts bloom !
