R. Wake from your sleep and see the light.
Rise from the kingdom of the dead
For the Lord’s Spirit lives in you,
You bear the mark of new life.

1. All those who live in the Spirit
Are delivered from all fear.
They are children of God ;
With Christ Jesus, his heirs.

2. The Spirit witnesses our spirit
That we are children of God.
If we share Christ’s sufferings,
We will be glorified in Him.

3. Try then to imitate God
As his own beloved ones.
Follow Christ by loving,
As He has loved you.

4. We know that for those who love Him,
God turns all things to their good.
For He has chosen them long ago,
To be the image of his Son.

5. Be filled with his Holy Spirit ;
Sing to the Lord with all your heart.
Always give thanks to the Father,
In the name of Jesus, his Son.

6. Glory be to the Almighty Father,
Glory be to his Son, Jesus Christ !
Glory be to the Holy Spirit,
Now and evermore. Amen.
