Ch. Shelter me, O God.
In you alone I am sure.
To the Lord I say : “You are my God” !
You alone are my soul’s delight.
Jesus, you are my only joy.

1. I bless the Lord my God, who comes to counsel me ;
Who even in the night directs my heart.
I stand before the Lord. I fix my eyes on Him :
My stronghold who shelters me from harm !

2. And so my heart is glad, my soul is full of joy.
In Him my body too will rest secure.
You guide me on the path towards eternal life.
From you Lord, comes all I could desire !

3. My portion and my cup ; my prize and my delight ;
My happiness depends on you alone.
You place into my hands a heritage of life.
In you Lord, in you, I put my trust !
