Come now, taste and see, the goodness of the Lord,
Here salvation’s price : in the Host Jesus Christ.
You are now the temple of the Lord, in glory raised,
You are now the temple where
Our Lord has come to dwell.

You have borne our guilt, Your body has been offered,
You have cleansed our sins, Your blood has set us free,
From Your wounded Heart, flow streams of living water,
You have redeemed us, Lord.

Jesus, Bread of Life, from heaven You descended,
God among His own, O mystery of love,
Placed within our hands, Your Presence here among us,
Always to remain near.

At this Wedding Feast, You offer to the faithful,
Covenantal wine and bread that brings new life,
We live now in You, as You live now within us,
One body in the Lord.

We become the Church, receiving Your Real Presence,
God’s children redeemed, Your fruit we have all been.
In Your charity, You gather as one body,
All those who seek Your face.

How great is the love that You have given to us,
Giving us Yourself, O Eucharist sublime,
Father and the Son, united in the Spirit,
Our Food You have become.
